I'm a technologist based in Washington D.C. building digital civic infrastructure to support open government, civic engagement, and economic development. Currently, I'm the Chief Architect at Data.gov where I manage a federated platform for publishing open data and API's across government.
I've led the development of the Open311 standard for interacting with government through an open feedback channel and served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow working with the GSA and the White House Office of Digital Strategy on MyUSA. I'm also an alum of OpenPlans, a NYC based civic technology organization.
Many of the projects I've been involved with are cataloged at Civic Agency.
